The New Dawn, more commonly referred to as the Seekers are dedicated to promoting cooperation between humanoids and pure strain humans so as to build a world order based around a new natural way of life. They hate ancient technology (except Domars) seeking out, and destroying all artifacts they find. They believe the destruction of civilization is a chance to begin anew, to forge a better society for Human-kind. The past is best forgotten, all the wars are no more, all that awaits is peace.

Membership[]

The Seekers are open only to Pure Strain Humans, and Humanoids. Prospective members will be expected to help around the community, as well as to shed, and destroy all their possessions that date back to the Shadow Years (Tech level III equipment such as lasers, and power armor). They must then take part in an expedition to find, and destory an artifact. They must not use any Tech Level III items on this journey. Upon return, and proof of completion, one will become a member of the community.

The most popular Seeker recognition symbol is scanning the horizon using both hands to shade the eyes.

Bases[]

Seeker bases tend to be townships, or villages of a pre-industrial nature numbering in 40 to 80 residences. These communities will be agrarian in nature, with a great focus on agricultural pursuits. Craftsmanship will be highly prized in these communities. These settlements will openly welcome all Human, or Humanoid travelers though they may be less sensitive, though not hateful, towards Mutant Animals, and will despise Androids to a murderous level. A few bases may be fortified outposts maned by up to five persons. These outposts may be set up as look out stations for the community, or to keep looters away from sites the Seekers have laid claim to, such as ruins they intend to cleanse of artifacts.

Faction Relations[]

They are bitter foes of The Created (Machine-kind), the Restorationists (the past was horrible, we should let it go), Knights of Genetic Purity (Humanoids are people), The Iron Society (we should live in peace), Zoopremisist (We will not be oppressed, no your kind may not join our community), Followers of the Voice (machine worshipers), and Archivists (machine worshipers, who are angry that the Seekers destroy their gods, and prevent them from recovering the gods from ancient ruins).

The Seekers will sometimes co-operate with the Brotherhood of Thought (Humanoids, and Humans should live peacefully with each other) but frown upon the Brotherhood's advanced technology.
